anyone have a heat gun?

This might be a long shot but does anyone have one they can lend me for a night? Finally have time to finish my diy led and need to bend a piece of acrylic. Don't mind spending the 50 bucks to get a decent one but really running out of space in my apt. to store all my tools and reef eqpt. tia

Use a hair dryer or hot water could work also. Hair dryer can't be much different than a heat gun and I know it works. I have used hot water to make flex tubing more flexible I also noticed that an acrylic sump that was filled with hot water or even rubbermaid containers get weaker and bend as well. I hope that helps.

It's a 3/4 inch thick piece of acrylic. Tried the woman's ultra super heat high hair dryer and it didn't do it. Thanks though. Funny thing, my PS3 just blew so I'm just gonna need a gun to fix it according to the repair faqs. Probably'll pick one up this week if no one responds.
