I have a pair of clownfish who lay approx. 200 eggs every two weeks. The eggs develop well and the parents take very good care of them. By the 7th day the eyes are visible on all the eggs and look ready to hatch. Just before dark on the 7th day I move the eggs to a spawning tank. In the morning I find only 15 to 20 larvae have hatched. How can I have I more successful hatching?

Has anyone else had this problem, or have any helpful ideas so I can have a more successful hatching.

Any hints, questions or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
Lance

Lance:
try contacting james wisemen. This is a situation he ran into and devised a clever way of putting something over the egg laying site, now he just removes this epoxy slab and places it in the growout tank, he has more details
