There appears to be very little information on the larval stages of mouthbrooding cardinals. I would like to communicate with anyone who has done any work with the larval stages of this species and other similar species (By larval stages, (Development is probably a better word) while in the males mouth) I have managed to artificiallly incubate a clutch of the eggs and at this stage it appears that they hatch with no formed mouth just a swollen stomach full of rich nutrional yolk and developing eyes almost similar to centropyge larvae any one else tried any thing of the sort????

No Further help required on this species we have finally closed the breeding cycle on these guys after 12 months of research success at last hazzar!! Time to start on a new species Hmmm what now???
