I need experts advise on ick treatment. My Yellow Tang has developed ick ?pimples?.
I am not sure what was cause it maybe constant fighting with my Convict Tang.
Anyway the damage is done and I need to take actions ASAP.
I can?t catch the sick fish without destroying the whole setup and asking your advise on treatment within the tank. Beside the fish I have some soft corals (Anthelia, Mushrooms, Yellow polyps, Kenya tree, Zoos, Candy cane and Anemone).
Did any one has successfully cured Ick in mixed reef setup without taking the fish out?
If YES, than please share your experience and method.
Thanks.
Ben.

what size is ur tank?

there are reef safe treatments like melafix you can get at ur LFS.

Though ur best option is to QT the tang and possible remove it or the convict tang permitantly

My tank is 120 gal custom made bow front.
I thought of QT for my sick fish but, cannot catch any of them without breaking down entire structure.
I will try water temperature increase and melafix, than will go for partial water change. In any case all water is contaminated even if only one fish is sick.
Thanks an wish me good luck.
