My blue spotted jawfish has a badly damaged left pectoral fin and his left side appears to be covered in raised lumpy blisters. His entire right side is perfectly normal. He is still behaving normally and eating. He's had this condition for about a week, and I've been treating his food with kanaplex to treat and/or prevent infection. I'm not sure if it's helping or not. No other fish are showing symptoms. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Could it be an injury from a coral or some kind of disease? I'll follow up with pics tonight, but in the meantime if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Treating it's food with kanaplex is good. If he doesn't seem stressed you can take him out and treat give him a kanaplex bath. Put him in a bucket with a couple gallons of water, an air stone and kanaplex for a few hours.

If you have a heater in the tank that could be what caused the blisters.
