I have a 65 gall mixed reef tank. Now before everybody says no trigger aren't safe I know there are a few that are . Just wanna know who has had success or failure with what types . Was thinking blue throat , Niger or even cross hatch?

.

I have had a few different species of triggers in my reef and although the triggers from the family Xanthichthys, which include the blue throat, are considered "reef safe" in that most won't bother corals, but as they grow larger small fish and crustaceans maybe on the menu. Most do grow to 9"+ in size and are very active so placing one in a 65 can only be short term .....I currently have a female blue throat hoping it will turn male at some point.
