I am in the midst of trying to get all my fish out to cure a neginning ICK problem. I have 2 questions, first of all any good ideas of getting the fish out? I've tried this before with a trap and couldn't get the last 2 out. The second question is is it really true if you leave the tank fallow of at least 4 weeks and always follow quarantine procedures, the ICK will NEVER come back?

I've done it. My last bout with ich was in Oct. 06 it wiped out the whole tank except my 4" maroon clown. I put the clown in quarintine for 8 week, and let the main tank empty till the end of Dec. it was a long wait but i have not seen any signs of ich (knock on wood). My main tank did have sand, LR and corals during the time i went fallow.
Any new addion to the tank sits in a hospital tank for at least 2 weeks w/ copper treatment, before making it to my display.
It's really hard to remove fish from a 120gal display tank w/ LR, I had to remove several large pieces and use a 6-8" net to catch the fish.
Good luck.
