There is a link to a link about this guy in germany who feeds of all things banana for his fish. It seems a few guys in the great white north are tring it the fish seem to love it.
Any thoughs on this. Would the banana be good or bad for fish. Seems kind of strange to just start feeding something to your fish with out really know if there are any ill effects to the fish or the tank it self.

Well...while I don't see any ill effects on marine fish, I couldn't state one way or the other as to the effective metabolism of banana in marine fishes. However, there are many South American fishies (pacu being the first that comes to mind) that would benefit from the addition of fruits to their diets--plus when they get big it helps ensure that they'll taste GOOD.
