My ocellaris clowns, mostly the smaller (male?) have always done this wiggling dance where they swim vertically in place and do a fast shimmy, sometimes turning a darker color.

Now I introduced a yellow tang and he seems to do a similar dance.

I assumed the false percs were doing a mating dance for each other, but what's up with the tang? He's otherwise healthy and the dance is not rubbing against anything. He doesn't seem to be doing it for any fish in particular.

Tangs (at least nasos, think others do to) have a couple tiny barbs at the base of the tail and the sideways wiggle is an aggressive (or defensive) warning move. The darker color is also typical of them being pissed off...
