I've always like this angel. I sold an 9" one to a customer once...absolutely gorgeous fish. They not that common, but you can find one nearly at all times if you look around.

It's about $350 rare.

My LFS had a beauty that I really wanted, but it was a coral nipper. I passed.

My LFS has this one listed for $295 @ roughly the same size as that pic.
Maybe an inch or so smaller in length and hieght.

I too like the fish. It ranges the Pacific Ocean, and recently was phographed also in the Cook Islands.

Here are some shots of the same specimen, juvenile to young stages. It grew fast and the juvenile got around 10 cm in a fish tank within a year.

I saw the species for the very first time at a shop in Oahu, the Hawaiian Islands. Here is the shot of an adult that I brought back to my home some 15 years ago. It was sold there at the price of some US $120,-, if I remember.

Juveniles are rather fewer than adults at shops in Japan.

I just added one about 3" to my 120 reef.... with some luck he/she will leave things alone(fingers crossed)
