Pairing White striped with yellow striped Maroons

Has anyone have any success with this or is it possible and is the possibility the same as with just pairing two white striped maroons. I want to pair my maroon and she is a full grown female and want to know if its possible pairing it with a 1.5 inch yellow striped maroon clownfish. Mine is around 5 inches long

As far as fish taxonomy goes, there is one species of Maroon clownfish. Pairing is absolutely possible. There are numerous threads in the FISH forum detailing such attempts.

I wouldnt say numerous regarding maroons clownfish but there are about 3 and only one was helpful. But thanks Dean.

Hey, hope this helps...I did the same exact thing you are trying and it works out fine


They will endlessly quarrell it seems until one day they morph into a compatible pair


also the yellow stripe will turn white striped

Great link Fritz !! I wonder if I would be able to try this ? I have a gold stripe and have had her for about 1 year and I believe the original owner had her for either a 1 year or more.
