What are your water parameters? How long has your tank been up? What type of setup do you have? Are there any aggressive inhabitants in there?

it is possible that if one of your clowns died , the bacterial and invert inhabitants would quickly make claim and have a feast, thus leaving nothing to be found. check behind rocks for a body.

he may well just be hiding or in the overflow.
