hello everyone, about a month a 1/2 i've set up my new tank with about 140lbs of live rock and equal amount odf live sand, the tank cycled very quickly, i started with a foxface rabbitfish which seems to be doing good, but just last week a picked up powder brown tang, or white faced tang, 3 days laters he's scratching all over the rocks and seems to be getting ich, the cleaner shrimp seem to be keeping him clean to a point but it doesnt seem to be getting any better, i dont have a QT only a 55 gallon fish only with triggers and puffers, any ideas, please help, thanks Malkz

You need to treat the fish with hyposalinity. Google it or do a search on this site there is plenty of posts about treating ich using hypo. There is no easy way out or short cut you have to do hypo the right way, the only proven natural way of ridding of ich. The other option is treating with copper but it's unnatural, toxic to inverts, and very easy to overdose. Good luck.
