Blueface Angelfish Advice

Thanks for the reubber band idea for the gel food. The Angel actually comes out much more now that the wrasse is in there, he is much less spooked. The tank is going great now. Still trying to get pic of the lunare wrasse form Manhattan Aquariums, great colors.

both the Blueface AND the Powder Brown need a tank larger than 90 gallons. You will not have long term success with either fish in that tank.

I gave away the powder brown b/c of his aggression and size. I know the tank is tight but the angel is young and if/when becomes a problem I will trade for a new fish.

How should I feed the frozen cubes of angel food? It is jello-like but I can't hold with a seaweed clip

did the clip come with something that looks like a mesh piece, if so you can put it in that.

No it is just a straight seaweed clip. I saw what you are talking about in my LFS, was thinking about getting it depending on how the rubberband method goes.

mysis, brine, flakes, seaweed, fuzzy fites from reef nutrition; basically anything that it will eat is good. and you could get more fish in there, i i would not put another tang or angel, and it depends on if you have reef or not.

I got those clips for gel based food. Doesn't work that great.
