Hey Guys,

I think my blenny is starting to get a bit skinny. I feed mysis and algae sheets, but I don't think he's going after either.

He is always picking at the glass/rocks, but I don' think he's getting much algae.

What're you guys having success with?

Don't want to starve this guy.

find him a new home fast... it will starve to death... some adapt to feeding but most just eat of the rocks, if your algae is gone it will die, best is to donate to a reefer who has an algae problem

I agree with knockout. Many LMBs "learn" to eat algae sheets from watching other fish do so. If you don't have enough "natural" food on the rocks/glass, it may starve to death while watching mysis float by.

You could place rocks from your sump into the tank, allowing the blenny to get at the algea that has built up, and rotate a rock in every day or two, or not clean the glass often, allowing that much more surface area to grow algae.

But I agree with the guys above, try to find it a suitable home.
