help me choose my next tang

ok so im selling my yellow tang (if ur interested pm me) and i want to replace it with either a purple tang or an achillies tang. vote above please.

I say go for the achillies tang but its only because I dont have one and I want one so bad... But its to late for me, my tangs get along to a certain extent LoL... So to add a new one would be a big gamble... But on the other hand I have had my purple for a few months and he has held his own and established himself in a tank that had a big bully (my yellow tang) and is doing great thus far...

at the moment both my tanks are in the fuge, the yellow so its easier to catch when its sold and the naso in prep for the new addition, id like either of the new tangs to be the boss, so the naso would be added a few minutes after the winner of the poll

i just got a purple tang and im in love. you can have a purple in a much smaller tank then the achillies tang. those achillies tangs need plenty of space to swim and arent as hardy as the purple tangs.

im rocking the 120, and i plan to upgrade in the spring to a 220

I think you made the better decision. The purple Tang is a much less demanding fish and is better suited for your tank than the Achilles. Bolth are stunning fish.

Wow, mine has NEVER shown the slightest form of aggression. What made you come to that conclusion? I'm very curious.

The Acanthurus tend to be the most agressive group. With that being said there are always exclusions. In addition, the Achilles loves lots of swimming room....:splitspin
