Dr. Gisele Muller-Parker Speaking in Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Marine Aquarium Society, Inc. is pleased to announce that Dr. Gisele Muller-Parker will be speaking to the club on Saturday, March 22nd. The meeting will be held at the Carnegie Science Center. Some of you may remember Gisele gave an excellent presentation at the Baltimore MACNA on zooanthellae. She has recently been a consultant for the new IMAX movie, Coral Reef Adventure (you can read a short piece on the movie in the May 2003 issue of Aquarium Fish Magazine). The club will get to view the movie, tour the Science Center's reef exhibit, and receive a presentation from Gisele. The IMAX movie starts at 4:30 PM, but the tour of the Center's reef display will be at 3:00. We are suggesting everyone be there by 2:30. The club is also getting a special group rate for admission to the Center and the movie. The regular price is $18, but we are only being charged $9 per person.
