Alaska SeaLife Center Aquarium Internships

The Alaska SeaLife Center, a non-profit organization located in Seward, Alaska, is now accepting applications for internship opportunities in the Aquarium Department. This is a full time position for twelve weeks available March 28, 2006. This position introduces basic animal care and husbandry techniques. Candidate is responsbile for assisting in the daily care and maintenance of the Center's fish and invertebrate collection, life support systems and exhibit development. This is an unpaid position; housing and a food stipend are available for individuals participating in our internship program. Interns are responsbile for all travel expenses.
