WOW! Can you believe there are only about 3 months until IMAC (the International Marine Aquarium Conference)? May 30, 31 and June 1 are approaching fast. The conference will be in Chicago at the Crowne Plaza Hotel where the room rates are just $119/nite for a single or double. Here are the Speakers:

Regular registration is still a bargain at $125 but, since you are a member of RDO, you can take advantage of the special offer we make to members of reef clubs. The full registration can be yours for just $99. You have to go to Program Advertising and scroll all the way down. Just enter “newsletter” where it asks for the name of your club if you don’t belong to one.

So hurry over to www.theimac.org and check it out. The special $99 offer is only good until the end of February. IMAC is your best value for education, checking out new products and schmoozing with other hobbyists.

Maybe you missed the special above but we have another one for you. Although the regular registration rate for IMAC now is not bad at $139, members of RDO can get it for $125 until the end of March.

Just go to www.theimac.org , go to Program Advertising and scroll way down to the Special Registration for Reef Clubs. Enter RDO where it asks for the name of your club.

I understand it is already almost impossible to get a room at the host hotel for MACNA but don't worry, even though it is only 2 months to IMAC, we have a very big room block and we are good for now. Rooms are still $119/nite. But don't wait too long; there are a couple of other big conventions in town then and all hotels will be full.

WOW, IMAC is getting close. It is at the end of this month. Did you know that this will be the last IMAC ever? That's right; after this one I am finally going to hang it up.

And tomorrow May 9th is the last day to make your hotel reservations at the Crowne Plaza at the special $119/nite rate. There are a couple of other big conventions in Chicago then and all hotels will be booked. Make your reservations through the IMAC website www.theimac.org and click on the "About" photo for a direct link to the hotel and our special rate. Don't miss the LAST IMAC!

If you register this week, with every full registration, you can bring up to 3 people who will also get full registrations just by buying Banquet tickets.
And, we have also added our "Friends & Family" Special. For just $35 ($45 at the door) you can see the exhibits, all the speakers, attend the raffle and get a "goodie bag" and Program Book. Everything except the Banquet.

So hurry, we have to give the hotel a final count for the Banquet and the printer a final count for the Program Book by next week.
