Fish to keep in a 20 gallon African cichlid growout tank

I have 7 p. acei in a 20 gallon tank. They need around 2 months till they are big enough to go into my 55 gallon tank. The tank will be my grow out tank for fry and my African cichlid that are brooding.

What fish can be kept in the tank that can live with African fry and an African cichlid that is brooding?

My 55 gallon tank has:
4 - yellow labs
1 - p. acei
2 - red zebras

My 20 gallon (currently):
7 - 1" p. acei fry

nothing can be kept with fry of any kind unless you want them to be lunch lol maybe a pleco would be ok but other than that nothing

I thought maybe small tetra species. Such as neon tetras or rummy noise tetras.
