Sick Pleco

I recently notices all of the skin around my plecos fins turning white and this morning it looks like he is also getting white spots on his belly. Any ideas on what it could be? He is eating and active.

IMO it looks like a bacterial infection possibly cottonmouth(which may infect the whole body not just the mouth). Best thing to do is test water parameters, spot out any other fish that may have similar symptoms/ discolorations,quarantine & medicate.
