I'll admit, once I switched over to saltwater, its hard for me to look at freshwater the same again.

Planted tanks look pretty cool. I'm thinking about getting a nano tank and putting in cherry shrimp.

Yep I started with about to 5 freshwater tanks , down to about 3 of them , Anna the other two are now saltwater ohh but I love my oscars,and green terrors.. it's not always about the color

When I had a freshwater tank my oscars were like puppies. Great colors (especially when seen out of the water - good thing I was in the room when he jumped lol).

I beg to differ. Ill post some native fish I have collected. Very pretty. And free. Ive seen some pretty bland saltwatwr fish as well.

You guys have obviously never heard of african cichlids they are gorgeous have great colors. I have a few pics in my albums of some of my past and present fish. Once I move my tank to my new place I will update. Green terrors and geophagus also have great color,severums too. Alot of african and south american cichlids are very nice looking.
