I hate the curved front tanks. They distort the view and algae accumulates in the curved corners where it is tough to clean out.

I love the solana- with a few mods.

1) Media basket from mediabaskets.com
2) auto topoff(with dbl float for safety) from autotopoff.com
3) lower the return spot (i have a vortech for flow)
4) upgrade skimmer (im still working on this one)
5) mag led light for media basket cheato section
6) RKL for controller
7) AI blue sol LED

I have to agree with him...I have Biocube 29 I love it but...see above..

Bio cube gets my vote love the hood keeps water evaporate to minimium u can keep jumpers and it's cheap get used one for few hundred

I have one (8Gal) but the problem is that the hood heats the water up real quick. And the PC lighting dosent give you much color or growth. Other than that you just need to get a little creative with the filter and its not a bad deal.
