Mystic Aquarium Hookup?

Hey Guys,

I'll be going to Mystic Aquarium next week. Does anybody know somebody that can hook me up with an in depth tour? Would love to see their system and stuff.

Have you researched /checked reviews of Mystic Aq. on the web...
I was there about 3 years ago, and as far as what a 'reefer' would like to see, there was almost nothing. Quite frankly, I was very disappointed in what they offer for the price, and time to get there.
That being said, if you are taking the kids, they might enjoy it.

IMO...Maritime Aq. in Norwalk is better, and Atlantis, far superior.

I have been thinking about taking my son there also I haven't been there since I was a kid so I don't really remember it. So far we have taken him to
NY Aquarium in BK-EHH
Boston Aquarium- Pretty good
Atlantis-Pretty good also.

I would say check out the boston one if you want to take a road trip. The best bet to get there quick is leave late at night like 1am you can FLY there. Get a cheap hotel and go in the morning. They have a sick cylinder tank that goes from the main floor up to the 3rd floor in the center of the building. I think it's like 30,000 gallons or something crazy like that. I has sharks, sea turtles, HUGE triggers, eels that are like 6 feet lots of cool stuff I believe several hundred species in there. They also had a bunch of baby sea turtles that just hatched in a nursery you could see into and a bunch of other cool stuff.

i was at mystic about 4 months ago, me and kvh252 from here went and brought the kids, we didnt enjoy it much but the kids had a great time.they had like 4 20 gallon tanks set-up as "reef tanks". i used to love mystic as a kid, it just doesnt seem the same. but they do have some cool interactive spots where you can touch stuff

Aquarium in Baltimore is awesome!! I went there last summer with my kids. Made a mini trip, got there in like 4 hours (maybe less hahahah). Went sightseeing, when to crab restaurant, Aquarium, and then the real reason went to see the Yankees spank the O's. Seats were ridiculously cheap, behind home plate for $200 buck for 4 seats!
