Send a pic to ORA and tell them you have a rare clown!

I've read that some marks like this will go away once they adjust to the new coral in the tank.

i did some searching and found this on another site. hope it helps.

The condition is known as Hyper-Melaninization.

In essence, the fish has come into contact with a coral or anemone or other such invertebrate that has stung or injured the fish. The fish isn't 'ill' per se only those portions of the skin have changed their pigmentation.
Re-evaluate what is in your aquarium and if the condition doesn't improve in a few weeks, remove the 'culprit' or remove the fish from this exposure.

He has not hosted anything but a power head... lol The 2 head frongspawn is in the middle and i have not seen him near it. However, he has passed through it while chasing the damsel. The duncan is ont he sand bed and he doesnt really ever go down there. I have not added anything but zoos, thats it. Hes always at the top waiting for food, he eats like a beast.

Dont think removing him would be an option... Should i just see what happens with time? Doesnt look bad, he still acts the same way...

mbgrubb15 - Congrats on the first post... lol welcome to the darkside... lol
