hi: do any member know how to remove (mark or stain) that after a coraline algae clean up? i clean up all the coraline algae with vinegar but left a cloud mark on the glass, any idea thankyou
vinegar and baking soda usually does it. The cloud mark is just calcium. Just use baking soda to make a paste and spread it on where the mark is, then spray on vinegar and the mark should fizz out. Its also a good technique to remove lime deposits on old tanks.
JZHON thankyou , when u said made a paste with baking soda put it on the area than spray on vinegar,(made the paste with water) right , that means the paste is still wet when i spray on vinegar? for how long do u know
lol yes, make the paste with water. Then spray with vinegar. It should fizz and come right off. Depending on how much there is, you might need to do it more than once.
