I've never seen RO water for sale anywhere. when i was filling my tank i looked up companies in the phone book and called around, no one had RO for sale that i could find. maybe somebody does, let us know if you do find someone that sells it.
it would be good to know for emergencies.
I thought Great bear was RO but its not I forget at the moment which one but there is a water thats sold over the counter that states on the lable that it is RO.
I'll sell you all the RO water you want! $1 a gallon. Actually, if you buy a prefilter and a spare DI cartrige for me, I'll give you the water. Just drop off the however many containers you want filled, and I'll fill them up.
Well I get mine at walmart @ 59 cents a gal as opposed to my LFS @ $1.50 gal. But in the long run i would get a ro or even a plain DI water filter you can get them for $50 and they do about 150 gal of Queens water which is just about 30 cents a gal
world class aquariums sell this stuff all live water that we tried and was great. It's 15.00 per 4.4 gallons but it has trace elements, phrotoplankton and all that
Great Bear is RO/DI water but you have to get the ones with the green cap. Be careful because most of it in the stores is Distilled (through copper) and that is no good for you tank. You can read it on the label and it will say what it is
Just get a barebones RO/DI unit and save youself a ton of headaches in the long run. well worth the expence if you plan on staying in the hobby.
