I've done plenty of research on wet vs dry skimmate but was wondering which is more pref. for a FOWLR. I'ts a 55g it's moderately stocked all the parameters are in check cept for nitrates. What is more pref. in controlling nitrates or at least helping reduce them down the road ? And yes I am vodka dosing have noticed more skim as of lately. As a sidenote I have a smaller tank in which I have like 3-4 corals and skim dry as well. I just need an experienced aquarist's opinion. Thanks.

wet skim is when your skimmer produces more watery skim as opposed to dry skim where it's just frothy bubbles and it's more concetrated

I think i'm going to 80% wet 20% dry skim it seems to pull out more crap than purely dry skim
