hey does anyone know about any type of software that I could download to monitor my fishtank that doesn't cost anything

Im really looking for one that you input your own readings and it will keep track ive seen some but dont feel like buying one there has to be a free download somewhere

What do you mean input your own readings??? Wouldnt that defeat the purpose of being able to look at online??? I think you need to explain further what you are looking to do.

If you want to input the readings yourself, have you tried the "my tank log" feature on this site. Click your user name and there is a link there for it. You can track test reading, temps, etc. GL

im looking to log my readings so that i can look and see how my tank trends but just on the computer instead of flipping back and forth between the pages in my journal lol i like graphs and lines and all that kind of stuff pretty pictures

OK... Excel will do it!! If you have MS Office then you can do it. I will shoot you a PM

i agree that Excel would be easy. you can enter the data in row / column format and then display it in a graph. if you don't have excel, open office is free

I made an excel sheet already for the OP.

Anyone can check this out if they want. It is just the first draft.

You will see along the bottom of the sheet are multiple tabs.
The first tab is where you will enter all your readings.
The rest of the tabs are for view only, which contain a graph for 1 years time.
