Elemental LED vs. Home Depot shop light for phytoplankton.

I think this is a question for Wingo, but his mailbox is full. I saw Elemental LEDs on line and they have one called 'high density flexible led strip lights (EL-HDSTRP). It is a neutral white 5000k, 156 lumens and 40 IP. They also have a 8000k version. Right now I use 2 Home Depot shop lights to grow phytoplankton, but it gets very warm in the room. I was wondering if I replace the shop lights with the leds, will the phytoplankton still grow? I also wonder if their 8000k will support low light corals? Thanks for all you input!!

3)Home Depot all have LED bulbs that are daylight colored (daylight is usually 5000-6,500K)
