Hey guys, been a while so I hope you and your tanks are all doing well! So I finally went back to trying my Achilles heel in this hobby!. Anemone's and a symbiotic relationship with a clown, or damsel (as a newbie, this desire ruined my tank, twice!) Now 5 years in, I think I might be ready to try again. An added bonus to the mix was the porcelain anemone crab that snuck in attached to my new green carpet ? it sits right on it all day/night...I went with the domino damsel that was visibly hosting with the anemone at the store and it has not disappointed yet. It even brings the crab some din-din from what I observed yesterday. So the anemone is about 4 inches during the day and gets nice and puffy, and larger at night, with gorgeous folds and ridges during the actnic and later, moon light periods. After 48 hrs. it is looking proper and real healthy and stayed exactly where I placed it- as a centerpiece right in the apex of a V shaped live-rock formation - LOVELY !! However, I remember reading somewhere that gr. mushroom coral have a bio-defense suitable to sustaining a decent battle with anemones. I?m wondering if anyone can elaborate, or help here, as I have a nice field of 'em growing nearby. 1-polyp is almost touching the outer ridges of the carpet. I have no problem siphoning them off the close one?s at the next H2O change, but would rather not?Any experience/advise here is appreciated. Thanks!

One other (albeiet sadist) question:

I am realy tempted to feel this guys sting. I have tried for weeks now, while researching this buy, to get quality material as to a description on how it feels. As an avid diver, I have seen, and come in contact with a few in Fiji and Indonesia, only to not feel a thing. But I hear, less a good description, that they hurt! Can anyone detail, in full the "feeling"? I know: look, but don't touch, but I'm really tempted!!!
