Quick Question About salt mixing

I went from H20 to EVS than SALINITY. All three are great. But ESV mixers the best. In few minutes water is clear. H20 and Salinity mix about same. H2O mixing leaving light brown color to pumps and glass. Where Salinity leaves a white dusting even after 48 hours of mixing in strong pump. But the best results and the faster growth by far I notice is Salinity Salt. I got it on sale for $45 FOR 120 GAL. Its getting harder and harder to find a place that carrys this three salts these days.

Have you considered Tropic Marin?

I was about to when i first started i used to use hawaiin marin mix which is now called tropic marin

I been using red sea coral pro lately and its got great #'s. Mixes easy, 1/2 cup per gallon 1.025 every time

I use kent and mixes easily and right at 1.025. I also change salts every time I have a buy a new bucket. red sea pro and kent my favorites.

as long as you don't do a big water change with the new salt you should be ok. i tried the esv, my corals didn't like it, so i stuck to Reef Crystal because it was cheaper and it didn't do anything special.

FWIW... that '175g' salt mix, also makes only 150g at 1.025... :scratchch may be a 'good price', but still an 'expensive' salt!

i use reef crystals as well, no issues i did use H20 for a while but havent noticed any major change in corals or water quality after switch

to switch i mixed my dosage ofeach salt in half untill i ran out and then went with reef crystals only cause i was tired of traveling to get it...

so imma try the reef crystals then like you said easier to get just hope i get good results you know these damn sps are like extra sensitive
