I just got lumenarc III and absolutely love them. Best halide
light I have ever used. I am running radium 20K's and Need some help
terribly.

my tank is 150 gallons 48X24X28 Its a high tank. How High should I
mount the Lumenarcs for the best spread and par? Should the Height be
from the BOTTOM of the pendant to the Water OR ... from the TOP of the
pendant to the water. I am running SPS high in the tank to 3/4'ths of the
way down and Chalices/softies and zoo's in the very bottom of the
tank.

Generally I shoot for about 12", give or take maybe 4", from the water to the bottom of the reflector. If it's easy to adjust the reflector height though, I do so based on the light spread. If it looks too focused, raise it; if it looks like a lot of light is being lost, lower it ;)
