I'm going for a 10 day treatment, but it says it could go longer if need be. I got hammer, open brain, aussie elegance coral, clams, zoas, etc. I'll post the progress with this treatment and let you guys know what's going on. ( i'll post pictures if any problem comes up)

It basically is just another product that boost the immune system, so the fish can fight off the ich, but it doesn't kill the ich. Sorry, but just more snake oil.

Not really the case, Herbtana "builds" a wall on the fish body so that ich can't attached to the fish there for the ich "starves" to death. Herbtana doesn't kill the Ich, but rather is the "cause" of it's death, and it has nothing to do with boosting the immune system.

This is right from their web site:
MICROBE-LIFT/Herbtana is a unique, herbal, immune-enhancing stimulant, which reduces: skin flukes, gill flukes, Ich, Oodinium, Costia, Chilodonella and Trichodina. Parasitic infections are characterized by symptoms, such as: milky skin, flashing and heavy breathing.

Parasites are generally present on most fish at very low levels at all times. These are naturally controlled by the fish's immune system. When stress levels increase, the ability of the immune system to respond to its requirement to control the natural level of parasites is directly affected. This poor response allows parasites to increase in numbers, thus causing any of the serious above mentioned health issues in the host fish.

MICROBE-LIFT/Herbtana supports the fish's immune system, driving off the excess parasites. Since they cannot return to the fish during treatment, the majority of the parasites will starve without a host.

Also, the same case is made for garlic, and a number of other products that don't work either. The problem is the ich attack the gills and eyes, the white spots that you see coming out on the fish are the final part of the cycle. In the end all of these products don't kill the ich, and if they don't then they don't work.

I pasted this section of your post:

I guess you missed this part, which is the important part, as it's what the product actually does, or is suppose to do:
MICROBE-LIFT/Herbtana supports the fish's immune system, driving off the excess parasites.

This plays with the second paragraph from what I posted.

So is that the reason why it works? so the ich dont die? it just makes the fish "immune sytem" stronger? so the fish out lives the bacteria?
