Im in the process of laying out the plumbing of this tank(75 gal) 48X18X21.
What do you guys think of 2- 1" drains and 2- 3/4" returns a little overkill
in GPH? The overflow box will be centered in the middle of the tank.
My sump will handle a total of 25gal water volume. Skimmer pump will push out 396-792 adjustable GPH. Return pump is 900 GPH. I'm open for any suggestions! Thanks!

Waaaay too much overflow. If you want high flow, use in-tank powerheads. Too much flow through your sump will not benefit your system. Just think about how fast the water will speed past your skimmer. It won't give your skimmer an opportunity to 'work its magic'.

One 1" overflow with one 3/4" return is absolutely adequate.

X2..overkill....a 1" overflow pipe is good for aprox 600-800 gph...your return pump is what is going to determine how much water (gph)is overflowing down through the sump to be returned...Your pump is rated at 900gph @0"..how many feet back up to the tank? Look at the flow chart for that pump to determine how many gph are being flowed at that height....it's obviously under 900 so one 1" or 1.5" for the overflow and a 3/4" would be fine for your setup.
