found it in my live rock i took out from my 46 g last night.tonight it was still alive .is it good or bad i can trow it back ib

Do you have a sump you can put it in?
Or perhaps someone wants it?

Not your typical worm, not something I would keep in my tank :(
(and I don't say that often about worms)

that a bristle worm they good not nice to look at but they clean ur tank i have bunch in some live sand i am giviing away right now

I don't agree that this is a 'typical' good bristleworm- this looks like one of the (few) coral eating fireworms...hermodice carunculata

Scroll down the page to the 'bristleworm' section..then scroll down until you see the worm on the measuring tape..I believe that is this worm.

throw that thing to your worm eating wrase its a fire worm and it eats corals i just caught one 2 days ago and it destroyed my baby toadstool if you dont have and wrase then just throw it away thats not what you want in the tank
