check out this tank/aquarium

I think he can afford both. Anyway, I enjoyed the thread and it's a fantastic display tank. I admire this guy's knowledge of so many different things and he proves that DIY rulezzz

I didn't get a chance to read the whole thread yet, but he said he does 2000 gallon water changes. Sick. That's f u money right there.

Imagine in a few yrs when his corals grow and u want a frag, you ask him "can you frag that for me, which one. That one, the one behind this , no over there" then he says "lets go dive and you show me which one" lol. Talk about ur DIYer he built those skimmers himself. You really don't appreciate the thread till u read every post. I'm a picture guy myself but he goes into detail.

If he know how to do these things, no wonder why he can afford this kind of tank.

What does he do for an income? I mean, to make that kind of jack and have that much spare time to do all of those things. That "tank" must take hours every week just to maintain.

He is one amazing guy. A high school dropout that owns a company that re-manufactures pharmaceutical grade test equipment. In one picture you see his Ferrari engine blew up so he took it out and is fixing it in his own garage! His water comes from a well, but he has designed and built an incredible filter system too. I still cannot wrap my mind around this guy. Amazing. I mean its one thing if you hire someone to do this and drop big $, but it's another to do it all yourself. If you ever done serious plumbing you can see that he has done an amazing professional looking job. Incredible patience and dedication. He had that tank filled with just fresh water for 1 year! Just to test it. He has plans for 3x the size next. Good luck to him!
