modified tank

i am thinking of taking apart a fish tank to make another fish tank. i have a 72"x 18x 21. i want to take it apart and make a 65" x18x 21. do you think this is possiible or am i just crazy?

for the time and headache thats gonna cost I would just buy another tank. And why are you making the tank smaller? usually ppl upgrade to bigger tank.

You have a lot to consider here!

What kind of tank is it now?
How are you going to cut the glass?
Will you make a new rim? Or try to find a new one?

Like previous post, I would say just buy a new tank that fits your needs. Or have a custom one built for you.

i want to put the tank in the wall and the spot i have for it is 65" long. i was priceing them out and its alot. i was just thinking maybe i can cut the glass.

Have to ask yourself if it's going to be more expensive to get a custom tank from the start or spending the time and money to try and do it with the possibility of still needing the custom.

better off buying a standard 60" tank
