Hi, I am trying to control my lighting with mini timer from X10. I put couple x10 lamp module and appliance module into regular power strip, and it is not working.
I tested with direct plug in to the wall outlet and it works. I don't understand how are you guys using X10 module without power strip. Is there some kind add-on device in order to use it with power strip? or special power strip for x10 modules?

Please, give me some ideas.

Thank you in advance.

I haven't tested it on a powerstrip. I got one of those long non-electronic strips with multiple outlets. I plug all my modules in there. There might be something in the electronics that are interfering with it. Is it like a surge type?

The strip i have you can get from home depot. It's meant to go over work benches. Looks like wiremold. What i like is that it's spaced out so there's plenty of room for the modules and the cords. It spans the length of the tank, so i can plug the modules where i need them. But first try out a regular power strip with no surge protection. I can't make it out from what you wrote, but are the modules and the controller on the same phase?
