Why hasn't a home grown version of the Elos Rimless tanks been made in the good old USA?

Just call up a custom tank builder. They can build one that looks identical to it for 1/3 of the price.

Pic0aquariums makes custom tanks and I've heard nothing but good things. There is a website that lists a bunch of all in ones but he also makes custom tanks. Much cheaper than Elos.

That said, I love my Elos Mini.
