So today I was doing some routine maintainace on my tank. I was in my fish room and I was just checking water level in my sump. Now mind you I only have a small area cut out of wall from my fish room to my tank and sump which are in another room. Anyway, when I looked quick I thought I saw something move.

Curious, I went around and removed the sump cover. Swimming around I saw my Radiant Wrasse. He's been missing for about 2 months. So I start my rescue mission. I start removing rocks from sump to clear netting area. When I pick up my third rock I see my Photon Clown that I bought from Sanjay at the fall swap. He's been missing since the day after the swap.

So after about 1 hour of chasing both fish around the sump I rescued them and put them back in the DT. The clown didn't grow at all, but he's alive. He seems to be welcomed by my other 6 clowns, but I am worried as he may upset the happy balance. I'll have to watch him closely. The Radiant Wrasse went right back to hanging with my other 5 wrasses and looks very happy to be back.

Now, I know I always check the sump when I can't find a fish but obviously I will have to check more closely when one of my fish goes MIA. I just assumed when I didn't find them they died and were eaten by my CUC. I really dont know what the heck they were eating down there but I'm thrilled that I have them back.

Sounds like the movie nemo...lol.that's amazing. cool story. Do you have pods in your sump maybe that's what they ate? and how the hell did they get there.

They went down the Durso in the overflow.

I'm sure your right, they were eating pods and whatever food went into overflows.
