not trying to be a Richard, but you sure that's 1/2" glass? can you shoot a photo with a tape measure on it? looks closer to 3/8th's

Again, not trying to be a hard ass here, just never seen it work.

That includes the bead of silicone - measure from the top of the glass - that's the actual glass size.

Cool if its working, I know every time I've tried glass or acrylic larger than 3/8's it falls off - tank volume has nothing to do with it - glass thickness is key. so it may very well fit on a tank that's 220, but no way is it 1/2" glass.

If you're inclined to entertain my diatribe, measure from the top pane of the glass and I would bet you a frag it's 3/8'ths
