im guessing there are 2 overflows (left and right) if so check your bulk heads. more than likely the problem. might just be loose and needs to be tightened

is it a drip leak or more serious?

is it front or back?

give more details

also you need to circulate the water in the tank or all livestock will die!

says you have the tank down 1week already. surprised they lasted that long but sorry to say...they might be already at the point of no return

if its just a drip, i wouldnt shut everything down. check your plumbing, usually if its dripping its the plumbing. use a flashlight and get under it. try to trace the leak to its source, i'm sure you'll find it.

i had water spitting out of my sump one time. it was bouncing out of the filter sock. i thought i had a major leak also when i came home and saw water on the floor. sometimes things are that silly and not so serious. just have to do a little detective work.

willing to bet its the plumbing! just check it out. being in this hobby you have to be able to diagnose on the fly. i have a 175 bow and went through the same things.

Mine was leaking from, the bulkheads (new that came with the tank!) so I bought new bulkheads and it still leaked! (has to be something with the brand new tank!-grr) So, i siliconed the bulkheads in, and now, no leak. Hope this helps.

I could be wrong, but I believe siliconing the bulkheads is a 'no-no'!

I heard the same thing. When I asked a few "seasoned" reefers, its mainly when you have to remove the bulkheads for cleaning or something its a real PITA to get them out, but I was left with no choice. I tried everything. But, it worked. I'll have to deal with the PITA of removing them when I have to. At least till then, no leaks.

You sincerely need to figure out where the water is leaking from as if it is a seam, the tank can break at any point :(

You mentioned it is in the 'left rear'...do you mean along aside corner, or along the lower edge?

Dry EVERYTHING and then tape some papertowels in the areas you suspect and see what area gets wet first. That should help you narrow down where the water is coming from.

If it is from a seam, in order to repair the tank - the tank will have to be totally disassembled and rebuild with all new silicone (yes, entirely), or replaced.
