I traded my 150g tank for a 90g tank. Swapped everything but the fish and corals. I didn't need 150g for just 3 fish. Here's a pic of my new tank. Somehow I managed to cram all of my LR in it.

looks really nice, but with the rocks stacked so closely together like that. your flow isn't going to be optimal and you will end up trapping a lot of detritus. maybe if you have a sump take some rock out and throw it down there, give the fish more room to swim. other then that looking good!

We'll work on the rockwork later. I was just trying to get all of the rock in the tank before it dried out. I am going to throw some rocks in the sump. I need to hire someone to fix my rocks for me. I only have 3 fish. I doubt they are crowded for space in there. :)

Cant see your pics from work PC but have you looked into computer case fans. They move a lot of air in a very quiet manner.
You can replace them easily as they are all sized the same, they give dB readings on their packaging and 80mm X 80mm would be a great size.

Google search gives great pricing and you just wire these up to a AC to DC transformer. You can also add a timer as the fans would run just a little longer than the lighting cycle.

can you also give me a link as to what kind of transformer I would need? Those case fans are cheap and would be a great investment if I knew how to hook them up.

Another question...I am going to make a new stand and canopy for it. What color is a good color to paint it? Any color but black. I was thinking white, but I don't know what a white stand looks like. Post pics of what your stands look like.

You can use any ACDC transformer as long as the VDC output exceeds the fans requirement. This is a basic DIY splicing job but if you havent done this before if may be better to get someone else to do the wiring.

My stand is a black frame right now. I just bought a house so the panels are on hold until I get some time to work on them. I have a tank thread you can browse, there is a pic of the stand that is pretty much what it looks like now.

Thanks. I wasn't too happy with my last one and this tank gives me room to move around.
I'm glad I downsized. A 150gallon was too much for me. 90 seems more my size. It is sooo much easier to take care of it. I can actually stand on the floor and reach the bottom of my tank. My hip socket is eroding and I can't get up on the step ladder anymore to clean the monstrosity I used to have.
