Has Hurricane Sandy affected the swap at all?

I'm curious if Hurricane Sandy has had any impact on the plans for the swap. I know Jersey canceled their upcoming swap... and I figured we probably had just as many reefers and vendors impacted by the storm.

I'm hoping I can make it to the swap, but Sandy has made my schedule unpredictable and emptied my wallet... My job pretty much drowned in the flood, so I'd probably just be coming to hang out.

I'm glad to hear this. I know a lot of people get frustrated and give up after a crash... and free frag packs will hopefully convince some of those who are on the edge of getting out, to stay in the hobby.

I have a huge 9" colony of orange digitata that I'll bring in. Also a 9" colony of pink stylo with bluish polyps. These can be divided up into quite a few frags.

Glad to help fellow reefers in need. I know what it's like to lose a tankfull of corals. This summer I had a tank melt down(literally) due to a chiller malfunction, losing 90% of my corals. The digi and stylo are two of the survivors. The digi has some dead spots on it but should provide some good frags. It probably will be fragged in the process of removing it from the rocks and the back of my tank. The stylo came out of the disaster unscathed. This has to be one of the toughest sps coral around, surviving temperatures close to a 100. ideal for someone starting up a new tank.
I hope the vendors are bringing some good corals, I'm in the buying mood

my fish

i lost all my fish and i had just started my tank a few weeks before the storm hit me.. i had a huma huma trigger, a kole yellow eye tang, and 3 damsels ..
so sad and depressing .. im like not sure if i can get more fish at this time (no $).. (and still no electric in my apt) i know its little compared to other peoples tanks but to me this was my first time doing fish .. so its was a HUGE blow to me ..

im looking forward to the frag swap (first one ever) .. hope it still goes on!!
