"old school" razor blade attached to a semi-rigid tubing works fine for me. Sadly you cannot make the tubing to long as it becomes too flimsy to apply correct pressure. To attach the blade to it: slice the tube perpendicular to its opening, slide the blade in, then a drop of super glue. Easy to replace too. Perfect for areas where corals are making it impossible to put a magnet. And will remove the toughest coralline.

The hardest part is finding said blades nowadays...

I attack a razor blade to a thin firm piece of pvc. I?ve cut a small slice in the pvc with a saws-all and then the razor blade fits into the pvc snug. I cut a few different angles into the pvc for different areas in the tank.

LOL that what it looked like before he used it. He was cleaning up a tank that sat a year or so with no real maintenance. I'm not say you have to use it. but it seems to do a fine job. It's just another option for tight corners.
