How do you guys refill your DI resin

Every time i change my resin i make a mess. Iuse a cut poland spring bottle and scoop it in using my fingers but those little beads always go every where. How do some of you guys do it. My wife is going to kill me. She goes in the bathroom bare foot and she thinks its sand on the floor from my tank cleaning :biggrin:

I use a plane old table spoon, one scoop at a time, and on the last scoop, I smear the spoon with my fingers, and put all the sticking beads back into the un used bag

Don`t forget when you fill to bang it down to compact it.

I pour it straight from the bag. I only open the corner of the bag, put that end inside the canister and while holding the bag with one hand/laying it on my arm, I hold the canister with the other hand and i pour it in until it tops out. Then I bang it down to pack it, then top it off and compress it with that filter top that comes with the canister and seal it up.............or, I sometimes use a funnel.:biggrin:

i use the single refill size from brs. the refillable cartridge is also from brs. i use a wide mouth funnel from pepboys and the bottom of the 500ml brightwell bottle (marine snow) to help pack it tightly. also i do it in the garage where a little spill is not that big of a deal.
