It's defiantly a branching hammer
I have one and I also have a frog that's looks like the hammer
You should be able to tell the difference from these pictures

I say Hammer. Could it be that some tips look like froggies because of the angle they were in at the moment the pic was taken?

Branching Hammer.--Euphyllia parancora. I see nothing frog-spawn like in any of those pictures.

whatever it is, its def a BRANCHING. i am leaning towards hammer though

i believe this is a branching hammer. i have both types myself. frogspawn heads tend to be less uniform in size n round shaped. however branching hammers tend to be closer to frogspawn than wall hammers. some may even be a hybrid cross bred.

There is a whole continuum of animals that fit in between these two options, and I think it is one of those.

Pouring over the Veron coral book for a bit I think Josh is correct and this is neither a frogspawn ( def. not) nor a hammer, but something else perhaps E. cristata. ( I'm solely looking at the OP's photo) It is really very hard to tell from the polyps alone.
