Feather Duster

I haven't seen my feather duster come out. Might it have gotten eaten? I have a peppermint shrimp in there. Any input would be appreciated.

Peppermint shrimp have been known to pluck the feathers off 1 by 1. That doesn't necessarily mean that's what happened.

I have noticed that my feather duster only like to come out in the dark. Dont know if that is unusual or not. But check when the lights are off if he comes out.

i would give it more time. u can check after a week. if the tube feels light ,lightly squeeze it. if feel empty, chuck it.

Peppermints are notorious for destroying stressed and healthy livestock. I've had them kill totally healthy feather dusters too. Like Dean said though, that is no proof that's what happened in your case.
