So my tank is 34 gallons and in addition to the basics in the solana filtration, I'm running carbon and rowaphos in two separate reactors. I changed the rowaphos about a week ago and my phosphates are still around .3. Am I not using enought rowaphos? Why won't they drop below .3?

Over feeding could be an issue to be honest. I primarily use an autofeeder, but I think the food I have is too fine for it so it may be delivering too much. I'll have to double check that. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

What are you using to test the phosphates? Did you use dry rock?

Appears you just setup on 34 Gallon Solana - Started 1/14/2012? If so the rock will slowly leech phosphates, changing the media will help to remove it, but it takes time.
